Dr. Umamheswar Korrapati working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Bapatla Engineering College, Bapatla, has about 18 years of teaching experience. He received his M.Sc. in Chemistry from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur and M.Phil. degree from Periyar University, Salem for his research work on the Fluoride level analysis is Red Gram crop cultivated in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. He received his Ph.D. degree from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh for his work on the analysis of assorted anxiolytic drugs. He has published 21 research papers in refereed international journals, 02 in national journals and 08 research papers in the proceedings of International and National conferences. His areas of research include Organic synthesis, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Food Chemistry, Phytochemical screening, Nano and Green Chemistry practices
